Katie earned her AKC Championship entirely from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class, including WB, BOW and BOS wins at the 1997 ABMC National Specialty. Her first weekend out as a "Special", she was BOB at an ABMC Supported Entry and Regional Specialty, and followed those wins with Back-to-Back Group 1 wins!

She was BISS at the 1998 ABMC National Specialty.

Katie was always owner-handled by Ann MacKay

She was the second Belgian Shepherd Dog to earn the UKC Grand Championship title, and she was the first bitch, the first Malinois, and the first American-bred dog to do so. She was BOB at a UKC Regional Specialty, and in 1998, she won the Herding Group and went Best In Show at the all-breed UKC Premier Show.

That same year, she was BISS at the UBSDA National Specialty.

She was just beginning agility competition when she suffered a career-ending neck injury.
